All quotations issued by PrimeSphere are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Where a quotation follows a pre-treatment assessment, it is based on the environmental conditions observed and the information available at the time of attendance. Should the scope of works or property condition change prior to commencement, PrimeSphere reserves the right to review and amend the quotation accordingly.
PrimeSphere provides professional environmental assessment, consultancy and treatment services designed to identify, evaluate, protect and improve indoor environmental conditions. Recommendations are based on professional assessment, evidence-based observations and the selection of the most appropriate course of action for the reported environmental concern.
Services may include, but are not limited to, environmental assessments, consultancy, ozone treatments, environmental sanitisation, thermal fogging, post-treatment verification and supporting documentation, delivered in accordance with PrimeSphere’s documented operating procedures and safety standards.
PrimeSphere adopts an assessment-led approach to the delivery of its environmental services.
Not every environmental assessment will result in a recommendation for treatment.
The purpose of an environmental assessment is to understand the nature of the reported concern, evaluate the environment and determine the most appropriate course of action. Recommendations are based upon observations, environmental measurements (where appropriate), professional judgement and the information available at the time of assessment. PrimeSphere does not provide environmental diagnoses, treatment recommendations or professional opinions solely on the basis of telephone conversations, emails, photographs or video footage.
Where attendance is undertaken solely for the purpose of preparing a quotation for proposed works, and does not constitute a formal Environmental Assessment Service, no assessment fee will normally apply.
Where a client requests an independent environmental assessment, investigation, professional opinion or consultancy regardless of whether treatment proceeds, this constitutes a professional consultancy service, and separate assessment fees may apply.
The nature, scope and applicable fees for any consultancy assessment will be confirmed with the client prior to attendance.
PrimeSphere provides services by prior appointment and may undertake treatments outside normal business hours where operationally required or agreed with the client.
Evening, overnight, weekend and public holiday appointments requested outside PrimeSphere’s published business hours may be available subject to operational requirements and may be subject to additional charges where applicable.
PrimeSphere’s standard service prices include travel within the Exeter local area.
For appointments outside the Exeter local area, a travel and attendance charge may apply based upon the location of the appointment and the travel required. Any applicable charge will be confirmed with the client prior to booking or included within the quotation.
For appointments involving extended travel, specialist attendance or other exceptional travel requirements, charges will be agreed by quotation.
The client shall ensure that:
PrimeSphere’s quotations are based upon the environmental conditions and scope of works observed during the pre-treatment assessment or subsequent attendance. Should additional contamination, previously undisclosed conditions or a materially different scope of works be identified before or during attendance, PrimeSphere reserves the right to suspend works pending review of the requirements and agreement of any revised quotation before continuing.
Environmental treatments undertaken by PrimeSphere are carried out in accordance with documented operating procedures appropriate to the treatment methodology being used.
The treatment methodology selected will be based upon the findings of the pre-treatment assessment and the specific environmental conditions identified at the time of attendance.
Where ozone treatment is selected, all treatments are carried out in unoccupied areas only with “DO NOT ENTER” signage displayed throughout the treatment and are subject to ventilation and safe reoccupation procedures.
All treatments are subject to the completion of PrimeSphere’s Client Consent Form prior to commencement of works. PrimeSphere reserves the right to refuse, postpone or discontinue services where the required consent has not been obtained.
PrimeSphere may publish anonymised project information, environmental measurements, technical observations, photographs and client testimonials for educational, technical and promotional purposes, including publication within the PrimeSphere Evidence Centre.
Any such publication will only take place where the client has provided the relevant optional consent within the applicable PrimeSphere Client Consent Form.
Where consent has not been provided, PrimeSphere will not publish information relating to the project.
Following an assessment or treatment, PrimeSphere may provide documentation including assessment findings, environmental measurements, treatment logs, treatment certificates and recommendations, where applicable. Documentation provided by PrimeSphere forms part of the service record and should be retained by the Client for future reference.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, PrimeSphere invoices are payable upon completion of the services. PrimeSphere reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
If a business client does not pay on time, PrimeSphere reserves the right to charge statutory interest, fixed compensation and reasonable recovery costs in accordance with UK commercial law. For private clients, services may be suspended and recovery costs may be added to overdue bills.
We schedule our team and equipment specifically for each booking. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, you must let us know as soon as possible.
The following fees apply for short-notice changes:
If we arrive at the property and cannot safely start the work because people, pets or plants are still inside, this will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and the full fee will apply.
PrimeSphere shall not be liable for delays or the rescheduling of appointments arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to:
Where reasonably practicable, PrimeSphere will notify the client as soon as possible and arrange an alternative appointment at the earliest mutually convenient opportunity.
Environmental services undertaken by PrimeSphere are designed to assess, improve or address identified indoor environmental conditions and concerns. Whilst every reasonable effort is made to provide an appropriate and effective service, environmental conditions, contamination sources, material types and other site-specific factors vary. Consequently, PrimeSphere cannot guarantee complete resolution in every case. Further investigation, alternative recommendations or additional treatment may occasionally be necessary.
By instructing PrimeSphere to undertake works, accepting a quotation, signing a Client Consent Form, issuing a purchase order or otherwise requesting services, the client confirms that they have read, understood and accepted PrimeSphere’s Terms of Business & Service Agreement as provided.
These Terms of Business & Service Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
